Marchiano’s Bakery has managed to keep the wholesome and tasty touch of the old country.

Frank Marchiano attributes his success to recipes created over a generation ago. His mother, Nunziata, a native of a small village in southern Italy called Calabria, used to bake breads in the basement of her little row house in the very European neighborhood of Philadelphia known as Manayunk.
